Day 12 – HOLY SPIRIT ANOINTING

“I John 2:26-29: 26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him."

John is so uplifting! The anointing means the presence and power of God is in and on our lives, guiding us and enabling us to walk in faith and purpose. The anointing is available to all believers, providing us with the Holy Spirit's influence to know truth, remain in Christ, and serve God. The Holy Spirit acts as our teacher and guide, illuminating our understanding of Scripture and leading us to live according to God's will.

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the truth of Your Word and the warnings that protect my soul from deception. I thank You for the precious anointing I have received—the Holy Spirit—who abides within me, guiding me into all truth and guarding me against falsehood. Lord, I ask that You help me to abide in You, deeply rooted in the truths I heard from the beginning. I pray for the desire to remain in Jesus, cultivating a relationship that is close, consistent, and obedient. As I live for You, I ask for the grace to practice righteousness in my daily life, showing that I have truly been born of You. Protect me from the seduction of lies and the pressures of the world that would lead me astray. Lord Jesus, I look forward to Your appearing. Abiding in You now, I ask for the confidence to stand before You, unashamed and filled with joy when You come. May I walk in the Light, knowing that You are righteous and that I am your child. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
