Pastor Katie Weber was ordained and installed on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Yeager Memorial Lutheran Church. More than anything, she says she sees herself as a sinner saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. She believes the Bible to be the inspired and true Word of God, and it is her greatest joy to share the hope, truth, and love of Christ with others. Katie says God has placed a deep desire in her heart to spread His Word, encourage those who hear it, and help strengthen the faith of the congregation and their families. She cares deeply for each member of this church family. As part of the North American Lutheran Church tradition, Student Pastor Katie says she holds firmly to the Lutheran principles rooted in Scripture and centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, pointing out that these truths remind us that salvation is not earned by our works, but freely given through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ. She feels it has truly been an honor and blessing to be chosen to serve this church family, continuing to grow together in God’s Word, encouraging one another, and sharing the love of Christ with our community. Katie’s prayer is that Christ will always remain the center of our church, our homes, and our lives as we await His return. Katie and her husband have two wonderful children. They spend our days enjoying the simple blessings God has provided.
