Retirement Celebration for Rev. Jenny McCord

Our beloved Pastor, Rev. Jenny McCord, will be retiring from the ministry. Her final sermon as Pastor of Yeager Memorial Lutheran Church will be Sunday, Sept. 27 at 10 am, followed by a Retirement Celebration in the Social Room at 11 am. The church will be providing fried chicken and ask that everyone bring potluck side dishes to share, if you are able. There will be a donation jar in the back of the sanctuary for the next few weeks if you’d like to donate towards her retirement gift. You are also welcome to use PayPal or Venmo to donate towards her gift; just indicate in the notes what the donation is for. Let’s fill the sanctuary and show Pastor Jenny just how much we love her and appreciate her 26 years as our Pastor!

Secret Sister Dinner 2027

Bring your favorite potluck dish(es) and join us in the Social Room for our annual Secret Sister Dinner, where we reveal who we’ve been blessing all year and draw names for the new year! All Yeager ladies are invited to participate! To be a Yeager Secret Sister, you just need to be able to buy or make a gift for the Yeager sister whose name you draw on a regular basis. This can be monthly or at least for all major holidays. There is no set monetary amount required for gifts, and homemade gifts are loved just as much as purchased ones; this is more about being a blessing for and praying for a particular Sister in Christ.
